Preschool Crafts

Preschoolers learn by experience- hands-on activities like crafts are the perfect way to keep your child engaged and interested.

When leading your child in preschool crafts, make sure that:

• your preschool crafts are simple- the simpler the better!
• your preschool crafts are age-appropriate.  Make sure to challenge your child, but don’t expect them to do things your third grader can do.

Preschool crafts can include gluing paper, beads, dry noodles, buttons, or other items.  Free coloring and painting items like old t-shirts, flower pots, and blank journals can also be fun.  Just remember- preschool crafts are child directed.  You provide the markers, glue, and other supplies, and let your preschooler create whatever he or she wants.
